Good weather means one thing – it’s grilling time! Every family enjoys getting out of the dining room, and setting up the picnic table in the yard. Try a little creativity with your standard hot dog and hamburger fare by making this delicious queso fundido. Mexican style chorizo and minced hot peppers gives this topper a sizzling snap, and can be served as a dip for corn chips or fresh vegetables.

Even on rainy days, this Queso Fundido con Chorizo can be brought indoors and used for making delectable grilled ham and spicy cheese sandwiches, or can even tucked into an omelet.

1 tablespoon
Olive Oil
2 ounces
Mexican style chorizo sausage, casing removed
2 tablespoons
onion, minced
1 fresh Serrano or jalapeño chile, minced
1 Roma tomato, finely chopped
1 can
Campbell’s® Condensed Fiesta Nacho Cheese Soup

Step 1

Heat the vegetable oil in an 2 qt saucepan. Add the chorizo, and break up with a spoon.

Step 2
Brown the chorizo for 2 to 3 minutes, and then add the onion and minced chile. Brown for another 2 minutes, then add the tomato, and brown for another minute.
Step 3
Add the can of Campbell’s® Condensed Fiesta Nacho Cheese Soup and stir for a minute to combine and heat well. Serve warm on top of hot dogs.
